Rolex Sky Dweller Watches
Rolex Sky Dweller Mens Watches
Rolex’s Sky Dweller series is designed for jet setters and aviators. It’s one of Rolex’s most complex timepieces, allowing the wearer to tell time across two time zones. The dial features a sunray finish, available in a range of shades. The hands and indices are treated with Chromalight to illuminate the dial in dark environments, perfect for flying at night. At the 3 o’clock position, a Cyclops lens covers the date window, magnifying the date 2½ times for optimal readability. The Saros system operates the calendar, integrated with the watch’s movement. This annual calendar automatically accounts for all 30- and 31-day months.
The Rolex Sky Dweller is the ideal timepiece for frequent flyers to manage jet lag and professionals working across multiple time zones. The reference time ring is set off-center on the watch face and shows the time in 24-hour format. The wearer can set the reference time and use the conventional dial to tell local time using the Ring Command bezel. The Ring Command bezel also allows the wearer to adjust the date and local time, rather than using the winding crown—a feature that sets the Rolex Sky Dweller watch apart from other Rolex collections.
The case and bracelet are available in a range of premium materials, including Oystersteel and yellow or rose gold Rolesor. In addition to metal straps, you can find Sky Dweller models made with luxe alligator leather or Oysterflex, Rolex’s patented rubber-metal hybrid elastomer. The Sky Dweller is powered by an in-house caliber 9001 COSC-certified movement. The balance wheel is equipped with Microstella nuts and a blue Parachrom hairspring. This mechanism ensures the watch operates at an optimal 28,000 beats per hour, regardless of magnetic interference experienced while flying.
